- We generate systematized knowledge about complex social issues (problematic drug use, addictions, violence, disabilities) in dialogue with the knowledge produced by the local communities, to develop specific interventions aimed at social inclusion.
- We train educators in specific skills to lead the development of inclusive and preventive environments.
- We promote the construction of networks to generate an interdisciplinary and participatory approach to social interventions.
Our contribution lies in the combination of a local approach with an academic framework that aims to transform society. Hence, our engaged-research is based on the needs that arise from local communities. All our projects are developed following scientific and academic standards and are used as key resource to design our interventions. As a consequence, our process generates new knowledge that allows us to refine research, leading to improvements and even the design of new interventions.
